Hey RDM Tribe,
Over the last several months, Tati and I have watched God do something that I believe is much bigger than a series of meetings. We are watching walls come down between people who would not normally worship together, minister together, or even be in the same room together… Catholics and Protestants are taking the Gospel to the streets side by side. Believers from nations with generations of hostility between them are preparing to minister together. And ordinary Christians are discovering that God can actually use them to bring His presence into the lives of people around them.
This is the kind of fruit we live for!
Recently, Tati and I were in Germany and Poland for two very different gatherings, and both gave us a glimpse of what God is doing across Europe. At our first gathering in Nuremburg, we were joined by Marcin Zieliński, one of the most recognized Catholic evangelists in Europe. Several hundred people came together, with the room made up of roughly equal numbers of Catholics and Protestants.
We weren’t gathering simply to have another conference. We trained people to hear God’s voice, pray for healing, value the presence of God, and then actually take what they had received outside the walls of the church.
And they did! People who had never prayed for a stranger before went onto the streets. Catholics and Protestants ministered together. They prayed for healing. They prayed for people to encounter the presence of God. They watched people experience freedom, and they came back absolutely alive because they had discovered that God could use them.
That is always one of my favorite things to watch. There is a difference between hearing someone tell you what God can do and watching God work through your own hands…
Our second gathering was in Lublin, Poland, and it carried another beautiful expression of unity. This gathering was approximately 75 to 80 percent Catholic, with Protestants joining them, including Catholic deacons and nuns. Around 350 people participated over the course of the event.
Again, people didn’t just sit in meetings. They were activated.
They came back with testimonies of healing, people encountering God’s presence, and people responding to Jesus. The leaders who organized the gathering were overwhelmed by the fruit they were seeing. For Tati and me, moments like these are reminders of why we continue going. God is moving in places and through people that much of the Church never gets to see.
And what is coming next may be one of the most significant things we have stepped into this year!
This November: Armenia
In November, we are preparing for a strategic week of ministry in Armenia that will bring together believers from backgrounds and nations that rarely find themselves standing side by side.
We are planning separate training gatherings serving Iranian and Armenian believers, and John Arnott (leader of the Toronto Revival) is scheduled to join us. Messianic Jewish Israelis will also participate during the week, with believers being equipped and activated together.
Think about what that means. Iranians. Armenians. Israelis.
Followers of Jesus coming together, not around politics or the conflicts that have defined their nations, but around Jesus. We want to train them, equip them, and then see them go out together to demonstrate the Gospel through love, healing, the presence of God, and the proclamation of Jesus as Messiah.
This is the Kingdom. And we need your help to make it happen. Our goal is to raise $50,000 toward this November mission. A significant part of that will go toward helping Iranian believers participate, including the transportation required to bring people into Armenia and transportation throughout the country once they arrive. It will also help cover travel for our ministry team, lodging, food, meeting expenses, training, and the practical costs involved in bringing people from multiple nations together for this one-of-a kind of intensive week.
Some of the people we are investing in will carry what they receive back into places where we may never be able to go ourselves. That is why these gatherings matter so much! We aren’t simply trying to fill meetings. We are investing in people who can carry the Kingdom back into their cities, churches, communities, and nations.
The same thing we just watched happen in Poland is what we want to see multiplied throughout this region: believers equipped, barriers broken, people encountering Jesus, and the Church discovering what becomes possible when we stop allowing our differences to keep us from doing what Jesus told us to do!
